While we are all out cruising, let’s start some projects together. Knitting and crocheting is fun wherever you are, but it’s most fun as part of a community. Let’s make something together!
Knit/Crochet Along FAQs
Q: WHAT IS A Knit aLONG / Crochet Along?
A: A Knit/Crochet Along (KCAL) is an event that is typically held virtually via e-mail, social media, and Ravelry where knitters and crocheters all start and end the same project together. It’s a super fun way to encourage everyone to finish while providing peer support along the way.
Q: HOW AND WHERE DOES IT TAKE PLACE?
A: Our Maine Yarn Cruise KCALs will all be held virtually via e-mail and Facebook or Ravelry groups, so no need to be in Maine to participate. Each week, you’ll receive an email outlining the progress you may have already made while giving you progress goals for the next week, as well as advice and tips on how to tackle any difficult or intricate techniques.
Q: WHERE CAN I LEARN MORE ABOUT THE PROJECTS?
A: For timelines, pattern details, and example projects, visit each of our individual KCAL project pages.
Q: I STILL HAVE QUESTIONS!
A: If you still have questions about the Maine Yarn Cruise KCAL, please use our contact form and we would be happy to answer any inquiries you have.
